From October 21 to 23, 2014, eCarTec Munich – 6th International Trade Fair for Electric & Hybrid Mobility – will be once more the industry’s top international venue for electric and hybrid mobility. In the past five years, the eCarTec Munich has developed into the reference international platform for electric mobility.

The complete spectrum of electric and hybrid mobility
The four main topics of eCarTec Munich cover the entire scope of electric and hybrid mobility. In the “Powertrain & Electronics” area, the visitors will find amongst others providers for electric motors, sensors and actuators, cables, power inverters, electronic components and systems etc.

The exhibition area „Energy Storage” focuses on product solutions and innovations in the field of batteries and battery components as well as fuel cells and super capacitors. That electric and hybrid mobility means much more than the development of electrically operated vehicles is shown in the area „Energy & Infrastructure“. This area gives an overview of innovative energy concepts and current developments in the field of fast and inductive charging. The exhibition area “Electric Vehicles” covers the complete spectrum of electric vehicles, including electric scooters and motorcycles, small vehicles, sports cars as well as electric and hybrid commercial vehicles and busses.

The future of connected cars is shown at the special show „sMove360° - Connected Car” which gives an overview of the possibilities concerning connected and autonomous driving. The special show “Mobility Concepts” presents model solutions for a flexible, environmentally friendly urban and touristic mobility. Both areas are located inside Hall B2.

Because of it´s wide range of topics in the context of electric and hybrid mobility eCarTec Munich provides an important B2B platform not only for car manufacturer but also for manufacturer of battery systems, providers of charging systems and connectors, energy suppliers and automotive suppliers for the presentation of their product innovation.

In terms of visitors the eCarTec is primarily interesting for engineers, designers, fleet manager, decision makers from politics and cities and the management of OEMs and suppliers, but also for professional users, who want to get widespread information about sustainable mobility.

eCarTec Munich 2014 is putting a wide array of side events
Also in 2014, there will take place a wide array of side events anlongside eCarTec Munich. At the eCarLiveDrive – the trade fair’s own indoor and outdoor test track – visitors will again get the opportunity to marvel at the different electric vehicles or to even enjoy driving.

At the eCarTec Conference 2014 high-profile experts will give an overview of the current state of the art of electric and hybrid mobility and inform about future-oriented technologies and concepts.

The eCarTec Forum, placed in Hall B1, gives exhibitors the opportunity to present their company and their product innovations to an interested professional audience. The entry to the forum is free of charge for all visitors of the eCarTec Munich 2014.

Another highlight at the eCarTec Munich 2014 is the granting of the MATERIALICA Design + Technology Award and the eCarTec Award as Bavarian State Prize for Electric Mobility. Both awards will traditionally be granted on the first trade fair day during a festive award ceremony – the Night of eMotion.
